Thanks to all of our community partners!

We owe a big thanks to all of our partners from the 716 community who donated items for our basket raffle. They helped make our event a big success!  Thanks to our community partners we were able to raise money for Summit Educational Resources and raise awareness for autism.

Over 40 guests walked away with amazing baskets in their hands. Some of the highlights were: Autographed Tyler Myers jersey, Vera Bradley bag & blanket set, birthday party at Oogie Games, toys from Raff & Friends, tickets from Bisons, Bandits, and WWE, and many gift cards from local businesses.

Join our 1st Annual Bowl-a-thon

Not only does the Empire Strikes 4 Bucks offer open bowling for $10/bowler, but new this year is a bowling tournament designed for those looking for something more.  All you have to do is form a team of 4, give it a fun name, and register by calling Morgan at 716 208 8503, or register on Eventbrite. Registration is $30/bowler, and the money from your registration, plus what your team raises, will be used to help students with autism at Summit Academy.  We will send you some registration materials, like a donation form to help your team raise the most money and take home some great prizes.flier2

The Empire Strikes 4 Bucks was featured recently in an article published by the Buffalo State Record. Culture editor Lucy Lopez interviewed the event’s founder and co-chair Nick Rockwell and parent Darleen Stry who attended our first annual event.  Here is an excerpt from the article:

“Since you were with a bunch of families that had kids with autism, I felt comfortable there,” Stry said. “For a change the people next to me didn’t look like I was an alien when my kid started to ‘sing’ between frames.”
