The Empire Strikes for Bucks is a charity event that celebrates people with autism, Star Wars and bowling.  We raise awareness for autism and acceptance of autism.  We raise funds for Summit Educational Resources, a school that uses evidence based practices to help students with autism reach their full potential.  At Summit students succeed because their teachers believe anything is possible.

The second annual Empire Strikes 4 Bucks (ES4B) event will return to Thruway Lanes October 26th, 2014.  The ES4B committee is determined to make this year even bigger and better than last year!  ES4B includes the following attractions:

-Open Bowling: Rebels vs. Empire

– Who will you bowl for? The evil Empire, or the Republican alliance? Last year the Rebels beat the Empire by a small margin.  You can help your side achieve victory! $10 presale tickets for open bowling. $15 at the door.

-Team Bowling Tournament

– Teams of 4 compete to raise the most amount of money, and to score the highest amount of points in this 3 game tournament.  Interested in forming a team? Just find 3 friends to join you and register.  $30 to register- raising the money to cover your registration fee and to contribute to a higher team total is encouraged.  More information coming soon!

Interactive character performance

– A big hit last year was the interactive performances where younglings can learn some new skills from Star Wars characters.  The Star Wars characers who made this part of our event so successful will be back again to put smiles on the faces of the younglings.
