Summit Autism Awareness Walk 2014

Please join us Saturday, April 26th as we walk for Autism Acceptance at Summit Educational Resources in Getzville, NY.  We look forward to raising money for this worthy event and spending the day with Summit families and all of those who help Summit raise funds for their programs.  It’s always a special day full of amazing moments and fun entertainment for the kids.  Summit welcomes back The North Ridge Fan Force who are proud to support this awesome cause!  Look for your favorite Star Wars characters and get  pictures taken with them.

Stay tuned as we will be posting information soon about our Star Wars themed team and how you can support us!DSCF5280

Year one

Our first attempt at hosting a Star Wars themed bowling fundraiser for Autism Awareness was a big hit! We raised a substantial amount of money for Summit Educational Resources and many guests came out to have fun. Team Rebels out-scored Team Empire in our bowling competition. We had many guests with autism who had a great time. Over 50 prizes were won in our basket raffle and one lucky winner went home with over $300 from our 50/50 raffle. Oogie games was there with Star Wars video games. The stars of the show, of course were from Buffalo’s very own The North Ridge Fanforce. Star Wars characters from the light side and dark side of the force came together to help us raise money and awareness for autism! Thank You to everyone who participated and supported us. There were many of you!!
